I still disagree. If the only draw to watching Sherlock was its illegality, no one would watch it legally. Which, judging by its ratings, is not what’s going on. Why is it impossible that we actually, genuinely enjoy the show and want to watch it?

It’s true that there is American television - but there isn’t Sherlock in American TV. We think Sherlock is good, not because it’s stolen, but because it’s well written.

Maybe for some people, it has something to do with internet citizenry - but it sure doesn’t for me.

Also, Sherlock is amazing.
